Comparee compares the price per unit of products you type in. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of our own. The numbers you enter never leave your device.
The one exception is advertising. Comparee shows ads supplied by Google AdMob, and to do that the Google advertising software inside the app connects to Google and may process device information. Everything else works completely offline.
We do not ask for, collect, or store:
What you type. Quantities and prices exist only in the app's memory while it is open. They are not written to storage and not transmitted anywhere. Close the app or press Reset and they are gone.
Your language choice. If you pick a language in Settings, that single preference is saved on your device so the app remembers it next time. It stays on the device and is never sent to us. Deleting the app removes it.
We operate no servers and therefore hold no database of users.
Comparee displays a banner above the comparison area and a full-screen ad when you open the Results view. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob using the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

Google acts as an independent controller of this data. How Google uses it is described in Google's Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
We do not use any analytics, crash reporting, or attribution service beyond what Google's advertising software provides. Comparee's comparison features work whether or not ads load.
On first launch, iOS asks whether Comparee may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. That prompt controls access to your device's advertising identifier.
Either choice leaves the app fully usable. You can change it later in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Comparee shows a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform before personalised advertising is used.
You can revisit or withdraw that consent at any time: open Settings inside Comparee and choose Privacy options. This entry point appears wherever your region requires it.
Comparee is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal information at all, there is nothing for us to delete; if you believe a child's data reached Google through advertising, use the contact address above and we will help you raise it with Google.
We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Data processed by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's own retention practices, described in the Google policies linked in section 4.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. This includes rights under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation and, in Thailand, the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Since we hold no personal data about you, requests that concern advertising data need to be directed to Google as the controller of that data. Contact us at the address above and we will point you to the right process.
The app requests no personal data, stores no credentials, and keeps your input in memory only, which removes most of the risk surface. Network traffic from the advertising software uses encrypted connections provided by the Google SDK and iOS.
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes.
